Product description:
Over six kilos of hemp seeds are needed for one litre of our hemp oil. The valuable oil is extracted by gentle cold pressing. This ensures that all valuable ingredients (vitamins, carotenoids, chlorophylls, unsaturated fatty acids) are completely preserved. The secondary plant substances (carotenoids) and vitamin E have an antioxidant effect, provide the characteristic greenish-brown colour and protect the sensitive, unsaturated fatty acids. In addition to the many "anti-aging ingredients", the high content of omega-3 fatty acids - otherwise only found in fatty sea fish - makes the oil so nutritionally valuable.
Advantages of hemp oil:
Hemp oil does good and tastes good - the optimal ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acids (3 : 1) is beneficial for the cardiovascular system and helps control cholesterol and triglyceride levels. Just 1-2 tablespoons of hemp oil are enough to completely cover a person's entire daily requirement of the most important essential fatty acids. Our hemp nut oil is therefore a good alternative for vegans / vegetarians or for people for whom fish meals are rarely on the menu. Due to the high gamma-linolenic acid content (> 4 %), it is also used internally and externally for sensitive, dry and irritated skin.
