LAMP SET with Cooltube 150mm
Easy to assemble!
Cooltube reflectors are ideal for significantly reducing the internal temperature in the grow tent in summer. By integrating the lamp set to the existing exhaust air in the grow tent, the temperature in the grow tent can be reduced by a good 10% to 20%. Normally, the Cooltube reflectors are integrated directly into the grow tent's exhaust air circuit. The arrangement is as follows: Activated carbon filter, fan & Cooltube reflector.
Important: In the picture below you can see that the fan must also always be upstream of the Cooltube to avoid damage to the fan (the rotor blades) by the hot air of the sodium vapor lamp.
The Cooltube lamp set can also be connected to a ventilation circuit that is decoupled from the exhaust air, so that in addition to the actual exhaust air system in the tent, you also have your own exhaust air specifically for the Cooltube. For this, however, sufficient ventilation holes must be available in the grow tent. Let us advise you directly by phone or on site!
In the right menu bar you can also decide for a fan, aluminum flex hose (in the desired length), and the number of clamps.

Note: For the installation of the Cooltube in your own tent, there must be enough air outlets in the grow tent (at least 2 pieces a 150mm). Alternatively, you can additionally select the Ducting Flanges 150mm as additional accessories, with which additional exhaust holes/ventilation openings can be realized in the tent. The Ducting Flange Kits incl. Connector are only designed for 16mm or 19mm poles. Other tent pole sizes and further modifications can be found in the Secret Jardin spare parts section. When purchasing the Ducting Kit + Connector, more meters of hose (at least 3m), as well as a higher number of clamps (at least 3 pieces) should be selected. For optimal use, we also recommend selecting 2x connectors to be able to attach a ventilation hose to both the inlet and the air outlet.
Do I need a metal halide lamp with my set?
Metal halide lamps, just like sodium lamps, are high pressure lamps. In contrast to sodium vapor lamps, they have an increased blue light component, which makes them particularly suitable for use in growth. The internode distances of the plant are shortened by the light of the metal halide lamp, whereby the plant grows altogether more bushily and shoots less in the height.
A metal halide lamp should be used during growth, especially for longer growth periods (e.g., growing from seed) or when using various growth optimization methods (such as ScroG or Sea of Green). The wattage should correspond to the VSG selected; if a digital/dimmable VSG is selected, the wattage of the MH selected should correspond to the maximum wattage of the ballast.
