The powerful ballast from Urban Garden with plug & play function offers an ingeniously simple solution for operating sodium vapour or metal halide lamps.
The ballast is connected to the lampholder via a C14 cable and is thus completely ready for use! So you don't have to do any complicated wiring.
During operation, the ballast is convincing due to its low noise level. In order to cool the ballast sufficiently during continuous operation, the housing has ventilation openings. The robust housing also protects the ballast inside from damage. The ballast is capable of igniting lamps at a distance of 25 metres.
Ballasts are required for sodium vapour and metal halide lamps to supply the enormous voltages needed to ignite a high-pressure lamp. The power of the ballast and the lamp must always match. A 150W sodium vapour lamp may therefore also only be operated with a 150W ballast.

- Analogue ballast unit for 250W HPS or MH lamps
- Analogue ballast unit for 400W HPS or MH lamps
- Analogue ballast unit for 600W HPS or MH lamps
