The device is only as accurate as the probe is clean. Accurate readings simplify plant management and ensure improved growth.
Proper ppm/EC probe maintenance also ensures that you maximise the life of the probe and the unit.
The probe surface is where the unit reads the solution. If the probe surface is dirty or contaminated, the readings may be inaccurate. Similar to the windscreen of a car: if it is dirty, you can't see out of it! If the surface of the probe is dirty, it will not be able to read the solution.
