Description:
During the life cycle of a plant, it needs an almost perfect supply of nutrient salts (fertiliser). In principle, the nutrient salt requirement can be approximately determined via fertiliser schemes. For an ideal supply of fertiliser, however, a technical accessory is needed.
While an EC value that is too low (low fertiliser content) can lead to a nutrient deficiency within the plant structure (especially visible in the noticeable change in leaf colour), an EC value that is too high (high fertiliser content) leads to salinisation of the soil and, in a further consequence, to a 'nutrient burn', which becomes noticeable through burnt leaf tips.
The ideal EC value supplied to the plant in every phase of its life is therefore essential for healthy plant growth.
The SW - CF / EC and PPM - meter simplifies fertilising extremely and can also be recorded in 3 different units (CF, EC and PPM):
-CF (4 - 44)
-EC (0.4 - 4.4)
-PPM (280 - 3080)
As within the EC-meter also the high EC-values are measurable, the EC-meter is also suitable for checking the nutrient salt content for e.g. cannabis mother plants or similar.
