Our growSYSTEM aeroponic is a closed, aeroponic system for growing plants. The aeroponic is the logical further development of the hydroponic. In aeroponie, a substrate is completely dispensed with. The freely hanging roots are constantly sprayed with a nutrient solution. This ensures a maximum supply of oxygen to the roots, which has a very positive effect on the growth of the plants.
Doing without a substrate offers further advantages:
- Costs for substrate exchange and disposal are saved.
- Aeroponie can be used universally in different locations (NASA laid a decisive foundation stone for the development of aeroponie with its experiments on plant cultivation in space capsules)
- the substrate as a possible source of pathogens is eliminated
- The nutrient solution circulates constantly between the tank and the root zone. If required, a cooling unit can be integrated into the water circuit to keep the nutrient solution at a perfect temperature at all times. The tank, pump and optional water cooling system are all located directly under the growRACK and are always quickly and easily accessible. This also makes regular changing of the nutrient solution child's play.

How high do I set the EC value?
When you put the cuttings into the grow system for the first time, simply add the manufacturer's EC values reduced by 50% to the nutrient solution. Check the EC value every few days (check more often in the beginning). If the EC value drops, the plants are absorbing nutrients at a higher rate than water, which means you can refill the nutrient solution tank with an increased concentration of nutrients. If the EC value increases, the plants take up water faster and the nutrients have to be lowered. If the EC value remains stable, you have reached the optimal point where the plants take up nutrients and water at the same rate.
