Your young plants are simply placed in a tray the same size as your rockwool cubes or, depending on the growing medium, above the container. Directly in the rockwool cube, which is the only "medium" needed for a good start with well-formed roots. The nutrient solution is pumped up to this "tray" and flows over the roots of the plants. Nutrient solution that is not absorbed by the roots returns to the container and is later passed over the roots again.
