Congo is a cannabis strain from Central Africa that we brought back from our travels to Africa. We have feminized the genetic over 2 generations and selected the best plants over a long time to create this typical original stable Congo strain. Congo originates from the tropical rainforest near the equator and grows there all year round. It is a very tall-growing sativa with a huge headbud and few side branches. Due to its region of origin with very humid and sultry air, it has a very strong resistance to mold and is not susceptible to parasite infestation.
The aroma of Congo is very fresh, lemony and it has a fruity taste of wild strawberries. This hard-hitting sativa delivers an energetic high of up to 4 hours and has a THC content of 18%. This strain has rather thin, green leaves and produces a good amount of dark green or purple-colored, dense buds that are filled with crystals. It has a great flower to leaf ratio and delivers top quality buds with an unmatched and stunning fruity aroma.

Growing Congo
Congo is suitable for indoor cultivation, but can also be cultivated outdoors if it gets enough sunlight. The flowering time of 10-12 weeks is relatively short for a pure sativa. Outdoors, it can be harvested in mid-October. During the flowering phase, phosphorus and potassium should be gradually increased from the 3rd week onwards. Congo delivers a reliable yield of 500-550g per square meter indoors, and even 750g or more per plant outdoors.
If you grow Congo Seeds indoors, you will need to prune the plants and use trellis netting to keep height growth under control. The plants grow tall.
